These pieces are part of a series of works where I use the principle of wires wound around geometric structures with variable radii to create virtual sculptures. 

The results are beautiful objects, at the same time organic and abstract... 

I build these forms in SideFX Houdini, a 3D software that excels in providing tools for generative and abstract art. The process is a mixture of coding and manual modelling. 
The resulting object I render out as what I call "virtual photography", using natural environments for lighting and realistic depth of field in very high quality and resolution (10,000px square or more) for finest results in large print dimensions.
